Scholarship’s purpose:

Provide funds to aspiring candidate for degree accredited or certificated geology or mineralogy instructional training program.
 

Candidate requirements:
  1. Must be a full-time student attending an accredited New Hampshire college or university.

  2. Must be pursuing a degree in Geology or Mineralogy (other science or engineering degrees will be considered).

  3. The candidate cannot be a member of the Concord Capital Mineral Club’s Scholarship Committee.

Applying for scholarship:

Candidate must complete the Concord Capital Mineral Club’s scholarship request form letter.
The scholarship request form letter can be down-loaded from the Concord Capital Mineral Club’s web site: Scholarship form letter The completed scholarship request form letter must be submitted to the Concord Capital Mineral Club website, at the Scholarship Committee mailbox, no later than December 1st.
 

Scholarship review:

The candidates completed form letters will be reviewed as received. Successful candidates will be invited to an interview on the 2nd Saturday of January. Interviewed candidates will be notified of their status no later then third week in February. The invitation to the interview does not guarantee that you have been selected for your designated scholarship request.
 

Candidates interview:

To be held on the 2nd Saturday of January at 11:30 am, at the Salvation Army Building at 58 Clinton Street in Concord, NH. A lunch will be held for the candidates with the Capital Mineral Club Scholarship committee. The interviewed candidates will also be expected to attend the club meeting at 1:00 pm so they can be introduced to the club’s membership.
 

Candidates selection:

The final candidate selection will be made upon a consensus of the members of the Capital Mineral Club Scholarship Committee. The committee’s selected scholarship candidates will then be presented to the Capital Mineral Club’s membership for their approval.
 

Scholarship funds:

Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly from the Capital Mineral Club to the candidate’s designated institution’s program. Scholarship funding will be governed by Capital Mineral Club by-laws.
