The Club would like to thank Bill Brown on his topic of Minerals of New England and Mineral Localities of New England.

The Club is planning a field trip to the Harvard Museum for the April meeting, Saturday April 12th.. If you are interested in going please get in touch with Bill Brown by the 22nd of March. If there is enough interest, the Club will provide a bus to take everyone down for the day. The minimum amount of people would have to be forty to make it worthwhile, otherwise we will be carpooling down to the museum. For those of you that have never been there, the Harvard Museum of Natural History is the public Museum of Harvard University's three natural history institutions: the Botanical Museum, the Museum of Comparative Zoology, and the Mineralogical and Geological Museum. Through exhibitions and an array of educational programs, the museum presents a historic and interdisciplinary exploration of science and nature, with an emphasis on evolutionary theory.

Visit them at their website: www.hmnh.harvard.edu and view their latest exhibit Romancing the Stone: The Many Facets of Tourmaline in the mineralogical Museum.

The 2003 DUES ARE DUE. The dues are $5 single, $8 couple, $10 family, and $2 junior. To keep records straight and make it simple for Vince Valade who collects the dues and Don Dallaire who handles the money, give either person a check in the amount of your dues. If you recently joined the Club your 2003 dues may already be paid. If you do not pay your dues this month this will be your last newsletter and you will no longer be a member of the club.

If you have any questions please call Vince Valade at 497-3935.

The Club would like to thank Robin Edgewood-Reece for her commitment as newsletter editor for the past couple of years.

Steffen Hermanns will be replacing her starting in March.
