Sept 6 Lapidary and Mineral Society of Central CT. East Hampton, CT. These are small pegmatites on CT state land and subject to a permit, which we have for those dates. History, mineralogy, maps, directions and rules are posted on http://www.lmscc.org/directions.htm. There is no need to contact me to arrange permission. It is state land, anyone can attend on the permitted day, so they can just show up! Oct 3&4 SACO Valley Mineral Club ( tentative) Eden Mill VT Handicap accessible. One of the most famous mines around soon to be closed for ever !!! Grossular garnets, Vesuvianite, Calcite, Aragonite, Diopside, Epidote etc.

October 18 New York Mineralogical Club Central Massachusetts. Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. minerals found: quartz and lead.
