The November meeting of the CMC will meet Saturday, November 8th at 7:30 PM at the Salvation Army Building on Clinton Street in Concord, NH.

The November meeting will be busy. The December pot luck Christmas party sign up will be passed around. It’s all right to start getting excited and thinking about what you can bring and maybe a mineral too. We will also have a discussion about our future shows - Concord Everett Arena or Mount Sunapee.

The Everett Arena is only available Sept. 18 & 19, 2004. It is much larger than the accommodations provided at Mt. Sunapee. It is also centrally located, as well as, on one floor.  The previous shows have been held at Mt. Sunapee which offers a rate which is $500+/- cheaper than the Everett Arena – traditional, and a good atmosphere.  There will be much more discussed at the November CMC meeting.

The presentation for this month will be given by the UNH field camp scholarship recipients who went to field camp in Ireland. This year’s scholarship was given in the memory of Russ Sims. You can read more about Russ on page 5.

The Mineral of the Month will be the minerals of Ireland.

Refreshments will be provided by Bill Miles and Janet Breton.
