The CMC will meet Saturday, April 9th at 7:30 PM (Please note we are back to evening meetings) at the Salvation Army Building on Clinton Street in Concord, NH.

 Thanks go out to the Jackson’s for another wonderful March Workshop.

Our guest speaker for the April meeting will be Pat Barker. Pat will be talking about her collecting adventures since she has been involved in the hobby.  The display theme for this months meeting will be locality suites.

Refreshments this month will be provided by Neila and Bob Merrill

We hope everyone had a good time at the March Workshop and get together.

The club would like to thank Jack Gill for putting together nearly a 100 cards for the kids minerals for the October Sunapee Club show and donating to the cause, the tumbled snowflake and mahogany obsidian samples.

Our first Display, Sell, Trade, and Silent Auction tables were a success.  There has been discussion that during the social time of our Club meetings that this could / should become a habit.  What do you think? 

We will be having a guest from India, and also President of their mineral club in New Deli.  This is a result of the effort of VinceValade who is arranging to have him speak at our May meeting.  More information will be in the May newsletter.  The Eden Mills talk will move to the September meeting. 

In May we elect of our officers.  All positions are open until we have voted.  Scott Higgins, former VP, will be running for President.   Don Dallaire and Vince Valade will be running for Treasurer and Secretary again.  This leaves vacant the positions of Vice -President 2005-2007, Director 2005-2007, and Auditor 2005-2007.  We will be forming a nominating committee to fill out these vacancies. 

The 2004 DUES ARE DUE.

The dues are $5 single,  $10 family.  Please give Vince Valade who collects the dues, or  Don Dallaire who handles the money, a check in the amount of your dues.  If you recently joined the Club your 2005 dues may already be paid.  If you do not pay your dues this month, this will be your last newsletter and you will no longer be a member of the club.  If you have any questions please call Vince Valade at 497-3935.
