Here we are in the middle of field trip season and the lazy, hazy days of summer.
Please be sure to check out page 10 for a complete list of Field Trips remaining for the year 2001.
Our previous editor, Kim Young, is ready to pass on the duties that accompany publicity and mailing flyers for our annual show at Sunapee. If anyone is interested in taking on this most important task, please contact Kim Young.

Hopefully, we'll all get a chance to indulge in one of our favorite past times during these summer months - spelunking, of course. What better way to spend an early summer morning, than surrounded by nature before the heat of the day sets in, searching for the natural treasures of the earth in a secluded area of the woods, quarry or mine.
Keep some notes to share with us about those special field trips or vacations. Turn them into a short story and send them to the editor.
We also welcome children's summer adventure stories. :)
It's always exciting to see your work in print, plus it's a good way to keep those creative writing skills sharp.
