The CMC will meet Saturday, Nov. 10^th at 7:30 PM at the Salvation Army Building on Clinton Street in Concord, NH.
Our guest speaker for the November meeting is Jason Clark (he was last years recipient of the CMC field camp scholarship award) and he will be talking about his field camp experiences in Wyoming. The mineral for the month will be Western minerals. Robin Edgewood-Reece will be providing refreshments for this months meeting.

The December festivities are fast coming  upon us! MARK THE DATE, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2001. 

Along with the supper is the annual collector and lapidary contest, (number 7). At the November meeting be prepared to sign up to cook the turkey, ham, potatoes, buy groceries, or cook your favorite dish. START cleaning that nice specimen that will win the collector's contest.  The details will be available at the November meeting and a full description of the supper and contest published in the December newsletter. Since Gordon has been keeping records (1990) we have had a high of 37 people attending the December meeting. We keep trying for more. LET'S make it 40!!  IT'S A FUN TIME!!!!!!!

If you have a story about mineral collecting, or other related information that you would like to share with others, please send them to the editor no later than the third week of the month.

The new year is fast coming upon us. The 2002 dues are due by January first. The dues are $5 single, $8 couple, $10 family, and $2 junior. To keep records straight and make it simple for Vince who collects the dues and Don who cashes the money, give them a check in the amount of your dues. If you recently joined the Club your 2002 dues may already be paid. If you have any questions ask Vince. Next month a Club application will be included in the newsletter. Recruit some new members!!!!
